The Official Andy Todd Heisman Ballot and Upcoming Posts

Before getting to my final official Heisman update, I need to address some of the exciting, end-of-year posts that are coming your way. Here is a list of what to expect in the future:

- The top 20 albums of the year with a master list of my grades of (nearly) every album to come out in 2013 (Ex: Bangerz - Miley Cyrus gets a C)
- The Top 40 Songs of 2013 (must have music videos in order for consideration)
- NFL Power Rankings (I do not know when I will start these but it should be pre-playoff time with predictions for the offseason and Playoff previews)
- An end-of-2013 post that is not just sports related
- NBA thoughts & ponderings
- Bowl Games

Doesn't that all sound grand? Keep following this blog and bookmark it if you haven't already as there will be a flood of posts around the holiday season. The one downside of all these posts is the work that will go into them as finals are coming up and I am a college student so there's going to be a wide 2-3 week gap potentially without posts. :O

Now that that's covered...

ANDY TODD'S HEISMAN BALLOT THAT NOBODY WILL COUNT SINCE HE IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE HEISMAN COMMITTEE
#1. QB Jameis Winston (Florida State): Remember the days when people wouldn't give the Heisman to a freshman? Johnny Manziel sure is an important collegiate figure. For the second year in a row, a freshman will take home the Heisman and even has the added bonus of playing in the BCS Championship Game vs. Auburn. I look forward to it as Jameis Winston has failed to bore me once (even in the blowouts which took up a majority of his season). With all legal troubles in his past, Jameis is your Heisman winner in my books and hopefully everybody else's books by a mile.

"Sounds good to me, Andy!"
2013 Stats: 67.9% Completion Percentage, 3,820 Yards, 38 TD's, 10 INT's.

#2. QB Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M):I'm so glad that we'll be able to tell our grandchildren that we got to see Johnny Football in action some day. When you look at all the headlines Manziel has made these past 15 months, he's one of the most important figures in NCAA history. He'll be a first-round draft pick in next year's draft and he'll always be #1 in our hearts for sticking it to the NCAA with his early-season taunting penalties and half-game suspension. It's a disappointment that the Aggies only help for Manziel was WR Mike Evans and the team lost so often near the end of the season.

2013 Stats: 69.1% Completion Percentage, 3,732 Yards, 33 TD's, 13 INT's, 686 Rushing Yards, 8 Rushing TD's.

#3. QB A.J. McCarron (Alabama): It would've been quite the boring ceremony if McCarron were basically handed the "career achievement award" for being a game-manager and only being above-average his senior year. Say what you want about his quarterbacking ability, the dude won high pressure games and would've been undefeated again this season if it weren't for the missed field goal return that made this the best season of college football possibly ever.

2013 Stats: 67.6% Completion Percentage, 2,676 Yards, 26 TD's, 5 INT's.

Thank you college football, for pulling me in deep this year and in general, for being awesome.
